The boot options menu has been designed to integrate some commonly used options that people went into the BIOS for. For example, if you want to boot your computer off a USB drive, DVD or C or another device, you can click the Use a device tile in the boot options menu and select the device you want to boot from. A computer can Boot into Bios if any of 1or so Bios Settings are OUT of boot parameter. The magic key to boot into BiOS is DEL.
I would like to find a way to get into the bios setup to change the boot order so that I can boot from CD and then reinstall system software onto my 60G hard drive. Note: my bios has never been updated so it has the original bios that came with the system three years ago. Yesterday I went and bought a replacement H Samsung 40G.

Accessing the BIOS is independent of any operating system on your computer because the BIOS is part of your motherboard hardware. Watch for an entering setup message in the first few seconds after turning on your computer.
